Reuge is an iconic Swiss manufacturer specializing in the production of luxury music boxes and singing bird automata.

Founded by Charles Reuge in 1865 in Sainte-Croix, on the Balcony of the Jura, it is now the last artisan company to possess this expertise and to perpetuate the great tradition of sound mechanics.

The workshop is currently located in the IM’A (Institut de la Mécanique d’Art) building and has established itself as one of the major players in mechanical art, a discipline that has been included on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2020.
