Returning to the very origins of the concept of the water clock and the passage of time, the designers at HYT wanted to apply a contemporary vision to it.

It took more than ten years to fully develop the patented mecha-fluidic technology of the Neuchâtel-based brand, which was founded in 2012. That same year, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève recognized the brand’s inventiveness. Sometimes described as the UFOs of watchmaking, HYT watches, with their style and innovations, have brought a breath of fresh air to luxury watchmaking.

The originality of HYT watches lies in the specificity of this time display: no traditional hands, but rather the observation of the movement of two fluids. The perfect circulation of fluids in microcapsules or “capillary tubes,” at the intersection of micromechanics and chemistry, gives HYT its uniqueness and originality: the first and only mechano-fluidic watch.
